Playing at the Sankt Jörgen Park Golf
We have access to Gothenburg's most complete 18-hole course, known locally as the St Jörgen Golf Club.
If you are staying at the hotel the 1st tee is pitch distance. And no matter where you are on the course you are less than 10 minutes from the hotel.
Its close vicinity to central Gothenburg and the fact that all parts of the course are near both the club house and the hotel makes the course the ultimate venue for golfing events.
Most golfers regard the course as challenging, partly due to 13 of the holes being touched by water in some way. The course is also known for its fine finish and exciting greens. The greens are modern and chiefly consist of sand and creeping bent grass. All holes have grass tees and most holes have four separate tees. To further improve the quality, the greens and tees are cut using a single cutter.
Hotel guests have several golfing benefits. One benefit is a reduced green fee. Another is that you receive a start time when you book your room.
All who play golf with us receive our stroke saver. Our start times are at 10-minute intervals so we seldom experience delays on the course. The next tee is also always in direct connection to the green. A slightly longer walk is only needed between holes 8 and 9. Our members usually play the course for four hours in groups of four.
